A second concert was performed in Benguerir, at the campus of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University for the benefit of students, teachers and the public.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The programme featured arias from the great Italian opera repertoire as well as a tribute to the\u00a0<b>Neapolitan tradition<\/b>, with the performance of the most famous Neapolitan declaration of love, and a solo piece by\u00a0<b>pianist<\/b>\u00a0Stefano\u00a0<b>Ligoratti<\/b>\u00a0dedicated to the \u201c<b>dream of love<\/b>\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The pieces followed the track of\u00a0<b>literary quotations<\/b>\u00a0from\u00a0<b>international, Arabic and Moroccan literature<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The concerts ended with an unpublished composition by soprano Silvia\u00a0<b>Colombini<\/b>, which built a bridge between the Arabic and Western musical traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Soprano\u00a0Silvia\u00a0Colombini, accompanied by soloists from\u00a0Milano Classica, performed the best-known opera masterpieces singing of love in the \u2018InCanto d&#8217;Amore\u2019\u00a0Opera Gala, organised by the\u00a0Embassy of Italy\u00a0and the\u00a0Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat, in collaboration with the \u2018Fondation Ali Zaoua\u2019.
