Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani is in Belgrade today on a mission to attend the Italy-Serbia Business Forum. As part of the visit, institutional meetings are scheduled with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107, and the Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko \u0110uri\u0107.<\/p>\n
The Business Forum is part of Italy\u2019s growth diplomacy strategy and brings together over 400 Italian and Serbian companies, highlighting the growing interest in strengthening ties between the Italian and Serbian markets, fostering closer business communities, and generating new investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
During the institutional meetings, Minister Tajani will also address the issue of completing the “path to reunifying the Balkans with Europe,” a strategic priority not only for Italy but also for the European Union. To support the acceleration of the region\u2019s European integration process, Minister Tajani will chair a meeting in Rome on 10 February with the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans, the group of \u2018friendly\u2019 countries, along with High Representative Kallas and European Commissioner for Enlargement Kos.<\/p>\n
This marks Tajani\u2019s third mission to Serbia, following visits in November 2022, shortly after taking office, and November 2023.
