The exhibition is hosted at the Italian Cultural Institute of London and will run until <strong>28 March<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition celebrates the <strong>40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of \u201cViaggio in Italia\u201d<\/strong>, the photographic project conceived by <strong>Luigi Ghirri<\/strong> in 1984, considered a <strong>milestone in the history of contemporary Italian photography.<\/strong> It showcases the <strong>86 images<\/strong> featured in the original catalogue, which has been reprinted as an anastatic copy edition for this special occasion.<\/p>\n<p>A key element of the anniversary celebrations is the <strong>anastatic reprint of the original catalogue \u201cViaggio in Italia\u201d<\/strong> (Il Quadrante, Alessandria 1984), curated by Luigi <strong>Ghirri<\/strong>, Gianni <strong>Leone<\/strong>, and Enzo <strong>Velati<\/strong>, designed by Ghirri\u2019s wife Paola <strong>Borgonzoni<\/strong>, and featuring an <strong>essay<\/strong> by Arturo Carlo <strong>Quintavalle<\/strong> and a text by Gianni Celati.
