NURTURING INTERNATIONAL TALENT: THE SCHOLARSHIPS OF THE \u201cSISTEMA ITALIA\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 4 March 2025, at 11:00 a.m.,<\/strong>\u00a0the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will open the event \u201cNurturing international talent: the scholarships of the \u2018Sistema Italia’\u201d at the Farnesina, in the International Treaties Hall.<\/p>\n

Also speaking at the event will be the Minister of University and Research,\u00a0Anna Maria Bernini<\/strong>, the General Commander of the Guardia di Finanza,\u00a0Andrea De Gennaro<\/strong>, and the President of the National Association of Bodies for the Right to University Study,\u00a0Emilio Di Marzio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Scholarships for international students are one of the key instruments for the internationalisation of Italy\u2019s higher education system, helping to attract talented young foreigners to Italian universities while promoting the global outreach of Italian universities and academies.<\/p>\n

During the event, the Government\u2019s initiatives to promote scholarship programmes for international students and Italian citizens residing abroad will be presented. Particular attention will be given to the measures undertaken, in collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza, to prevent the illegitimate acquisition of scholarships, ensuring fair treatment for all university students.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending can apply for\u00a0accreditation by sending a request, by 5:00 p.m. on Monday 3 March<\/strong>, by e-mail to\u00a0accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0(tel. 06 3691 8210 \u2013 8573 \u2013 3432 \u2013 3078), as follows:<\/p>\n

For representatives of the Italian press organisations:<\/p>\n

\u2013 a copy of the identity document,<\/p>\n

\u2013 a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n

\u2013 a copy of the identity document,<\/p>\n

\u2013 letter from the newspaper of affiliation,<\/p>\n

\u2013 Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n

The accredited press will be able to\u00a0access the Farnesina from the main entrance, on the left side, from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
