\nChemical innovation as a multiplier of internationalisation and competitiveness

On Friday, 7 March 2025, at 9:30 a.m.<\/strong>, at Villa Madama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani,<\/strong> will open the event “Chemical innovation as a multiplier of internationalisation and competitiveness,” organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the National Federation of the Chemical Industry (Federchimica) of Confindustria.<\/p>\n

The institutional session, which will take place from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., will also feature the participation of the Minister for Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso,<\/strong> the Minister of University and Research, Anna Maria Bernini<\/strong>, and the President of Federchimica, Francesco Buzzella<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The meeting will focus on the role of chemical research and innovation as a driver for exports and national growth, and a Federchimica study on the socioeconomic impact of investments in research and development will be presented. The discussion will be divided into three thematic sessions: chemical innovation to increase the internationalisation of the Italian industry; building systems, developing international cooperation in chemical research; funding, venture, start-ups: accelerating investments in chemical research for international competitiveness.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the institutional session of the event<\/u> can apply for accreditation by sending a request by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, 6 March<\/strong> by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (tel. 06\/3691 3432, 8210 or 8573), as follows:<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n

For representatives of the Italian press organisations:<\/p>\n

– a copy of the identity document,<\/p>\n

– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n

– a copy of the identity document,<\/p>\n

– letter from the newspaper of affiliation,<\/p>\n

– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/p>\n

Badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, central entrance, left side, between 08:00 a.m. and approximately 08:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama by private means, once accredited, journalists will be escorted to Villa Madama by a shuttle service from the central entrance of the Farnesina (round trip).<\/strong><\/p>\n
