The exhibition will be open to visitors until 13 April. Francesca <strong>Tasso<\/strong>, <strong>Director<\/strong> of the <strong>Museums of Castello Sforzesco in Milan<\/strong>, will introduce a <strong>Canaletto masterpiece<\/strong> loaned for this exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition features around<strong> 60 works<\/strong>, including oil paintings, drawings, and engravings, mainly from British collections such as the National Gallery of Scotland. <strong>Canaletto\u2019s works<\/strong> are displayed alongside paintings by <strong>earlier, contemporary, and later artists<\/strong>, offering a rare showcase of <strong><em>Vedutismo<\/em><\/strong>\u2014a genre seldom exhibited in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>As a special side event, on 15 March, the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute of Osaka<\/strong> will screen <strong><em>Molecole<\/em><\/strong>, a film by <strong>Andrea Segre<\/strong> shot in Venice in <strong>2020<\/strong> during the lockdown, providing a <strong>unique and unprecedented perspective on the city<\/strong>.
