The leading actors <strong>Kim Rossi Stuart<\/strong> and <strong>Benedetta Porcaroli<\/strong> were present. The evening was opened by the greetings of the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, Prof. Pierre <strong>Di Toro<\/strong>; the Italian Ambassador to Belgium, Federica <strong>Favi<\/strong> and the Vice-President of Netflix Italy Eleonora <strong>Andreatta<\/strong>. After the screening, Francesca <strong>Carotti <\/strong>(Netflix Italy) moderated a <strong>talk <\/strong>with Kim <strong>Rossi Stuart<\/strong>, Benedetta <strong>Porcaroli<\/strong> and producer Fabrizio <strong>Donvito<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>exclusive premiere<\/strong> of the <strong>original series<\/strong> <strong><em>M. Il figlio del secolo<\/em><\/strong>, inspired by the best-sellers by Antonio <strong>Scurati<\/strong> and directed by Joe <strong>Wright<\/strong>, <strong>starring Luca Marinelli<\/strong>, took place on 5 February in collaboration with Sky. The screening of the first two episodes of the series was followed by a talk with Stefano <strong>Bises<\/strong>, who wrote the screenplay together with Davide <strong>Serino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last 27 January, on Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp, the Institute also hosted <strong>the only performance abroad of the play \u2018The Swimmer of Auschwitz\u2019<\/strong>. With text and direction by Luca <strong>De Bei<\/strong>, <strong>Raoul Bova<\/strong> played both protagonists of a true story, namely the swimmer Alfred Nakache and the psychoanalyst Viktor Frankl, who were imprisoned in Auschwitz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Italian cinema and audiovisual artists and professionals have recently been the stars of three events at the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels.
