The event, taking place on 16 April 2014 in Istanbul, will present the Italian government\u2019s programme plus investment opportunities worth over 100 million euros. <\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>Investment opportunities in Italy<\/STRONG> <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Tourism, transport, energy, information technology and real estate are just some of the sectors offering investment potential. Italy is one of Turkey\u2019s leading commercial partners, with trade amounting to around 19.6 billion dollars in 2013 and about 1,100 Italian companies operating in the country. \u201cAttracting investment is an Italian government priority\u201d, explained our Ambassador, Gianpaolo Scarante, in an interview with the Turkish newspaper, D\u00fcnya.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>\u201cWe expect the Istanbul event to attract great interest\u201d continued Ambassador Scarante, \u201cwith the participation \u2013 thanks not least to the valuable support provided by DE\u0130K \u2013 of about 100 Turkish investors.
