From the intimacy of the elegant French suite of Sieur de Machy, to the bold experimentalism of Tobias Hume&#8217;s &#8220;The First Part of Ayres&#8221;, to Pandolfo&#8217;s own arrangement of Bach&#8217;s First Cello Suite, this extraordinary and accessible program provided a fascinating journey through the\u00a0<b>golden age of the\u00a0<i>viola da gamba<\/i><\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Baroque chamber music<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0has long been\u00a0<b>a favourite with Sydney audiences<\/b>, and Pandolfo\u2019s foray into the genre has been a memorable one.
