{"id":135067,"date":"2025-04-14T15:00:33","date_gmt":"2025-04-14T13:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/04\/berlino-piano-slam-omaggio-a-keith-jarrett\/"},"modified":"2025-04-14T15:54:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T13:54:12","slug":"berlino-piano-slam-omaggio-a-keith-jarrett","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/04\/berlino-piano-slam-omaggio-a-keith-jarrett\/","title":{"rendered":"Berlin, \u201cPiano SLAM \u2013 A tribute to Keith Jarrett\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<strong> Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin<\/strong> hosted <strong>\u201cPiano SLAM \u2013 A tribute to Keith Jarrett\u201d<\/strong>, an evening of pure <strong>solo piano<\/strong> improvisation featuring seven distinct performances by <strong>Antonio Flinta, Davide Incorvaia, Aviya Kopelman, Andrea Marcelli, Stefan Rusconi, Kelvin Sholar, and Lennart Smidt<\/strong> \u2013 seven musicians, both Italian and international, active on the Berlin, Italian, and global <strong>music scenes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of the <strong>2025 Berlinale<\/strong> premiere of \u201c<strong>K\u00f6ln75<\/strong>\u201d, directed by <strong>Ido Fluk, the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin<\/strong>, in collaboration with <strong>One Two Films<\/strong> and<strong> Claudiatomassini + associates<\/strong>, organised an emotionally charged and internationally resonant event. The audience responded with a standing ovation at the end of the concert.<\/p>\n<p>The musicians \u2013 among them <strong>Stefan Rusconi, composer of the original soundtrack<\/strong> for the film \u2013 took to the stage one after another to improvise pieces inspired by the legendary album \u201c<strong>K\u00f6ln75<\/strong>\u201d by <strong>Keith Jarrett<\/strong>, recorded at the<strong> Cologne Opera House in 1975.<\/strong> The film by Ido Fluk revisits the story behind this iconic performance.
