Solidarity initiatives continue at the Farnesina. Following the success of the recent collection of food, clothing, and other essential items for people in need, this evening, for the first time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs\u2019 canteen welcomed a group of individuals facing hardship.<\/p>\n
On the occasion of the launch of the solidarity canteen, an initiative requested by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, a commemorative plaque was also unveiled in honour of Sister Paola D\u2019Auria. The plaque pays tribute to the recently deceased nun\u2019s profound legacy of genuine charity and her tireless dedication to supporting those in need.<\/p>\n
The initiative, which will now take place on a monthly basis, has been made possible thanks to the generous contribution of Ladisa, the company that manages the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s canteen, in collaboration with the association \u201cSoSpe \u2013 Solidarity and Hope\u201d, founded by Sister Paola, Caritas of Rome, the parishes of the XIII Prefecture \u2013 northern sector of the Diocese of Rome, and the chaplain of Regina Coeli prison, Father Vittorio Trani.
