{"id":135480,"date":"2025-04-23T16:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-04-23T14:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/04\/premio-elsa-morante-ragazzi-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-04-24T17:55:17","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T15:55:17","slug":"premio-elsa-morante-ragazzi-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/04\/premio-elsa-morante-ragazzi-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Elsa Morante Youth Prize 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The 2025 edition of the Elsa Morante Prize is now underway<\/strong>, this year ideally dedicated to the <strong>40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of the death<\/strong> of the renowned Italian author.<\/p>\n<p>The Prize <strong>jury<\/strong>, chaired by <strong>Dacia Maraini<\/strong> and composed of Marco Maria <strong>Cerbo<\/strong>, Enzo <strong>Colimoro<\/strong>, Lino <strong>Guanciale<\/strong>, David <strong>Morante<\/strong>, Tiuna <strong>Notarbartolo<\/strong>, Antonio <strong>Parlati<\/strong>, Alfredo <strong>Rapetti Mogol,<\/strong> Fiorenza <strong>Sarzanini<\/strong>, and Teresa <strong>Triscari<\/strong>, has unanimously selected <strong>the three winning books for the Elsa Morante Youth Prize categories.<\/strong> These works will be read by thousands of young <strong>readers from Italian schools both in Italy and abroad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The winners are: &#8220;Resisti cuore&#8221; (Mondadori) by <strong>Alessandro D\u2019Avenia<\/strong>, awarded the Elsa Morante Youth Prize \u2013 Knowledge, &#8220;Lucciole, squaletti e un po\u2019 di pastina&#8221; (Salani) by <strong>Donatella Di Pietrantonio<\/strong>, awarded the Elsa Morante Youth Prize \u2013 Fiction, &#8220;Sulla mia terra&#8221; (De Agostini) by <strong>Francesca Mannocchi<\/strong>, awarded the Elsa Morante Youth Prize \u2013 History.<\/p>\n<p>Around ten thousand students, including pupils from the network of <strong>Italian schools<\/strong> affiliated with the <strong>Italian Education System in the World<\/strong>, will have the opportunity to read the books and <strong>vote for their favourite<\/strong>. The winning book will receive an additional accolade: the <strong>Elsa Morante School Prize.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading groups from both Italy and abroad still have the opportunity to join the judging panel by registering before the end of April.<\/strong> To participate, send a confirmation email to: <a href=\"mailto:associazionepremioelsamorante@gmail.com\">associazionepremioelsamorante@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One thousand students will attend the final event live, which will take place on <strong>13 May<\/strong> at the Auditorium of Citt\u00e0 della Scienza in Naples.
