{"id":136019,"date":"2025-05-06T10:18:58","date_gmt":"2025-05-06T08:18:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/05\/san-francisco-spettacolo-multimediale-ora-i-limiti-del-pianeta-allistituto-italiano-di-cultura\/"},"modified":"2025-05-07T08:33:37","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T06:33:37","slug":"san-francisco-spettacolo-multimediale-ora-i-limiti-del-pianeta-allistituto-italiano-di-cultura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/05\/san-francisco-spettacolo-multimediale-ora-i-limiti-del-pianeta-allistituto-italiano-di-cultura\/","title":{"rendered":"San Francisco, multimedia show \u201cOra, i limiti del pianeta\u201d at the Italian Cultural Institute"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 22 April, to celebrate Italian Research Day and World Earth Day, the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco presented the multimedia show \u201c<em>Ora, i limiti del pianeta<\/em>\u201d (Now, the Planet&#8217;s Limits), the new performance project by Imaginarium (Francesca <strong>Pasquinucci<\/strong> and Davide <strong>Giannoni<\/strong>) featuring storytelling, drawings, animation, direction and original musical compositions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Art and science meet, in this videomapping and music tale<\/strong>, on what scholars call \u201c<strong>planetary limits\u2019\u201d<\/strong> i.e. those <strong>thresholds<\/strong> <strong>that mankind should not cross<\/strong> to prevent the Earth from collapsing. <strong>Nine fundamental environmental processes by which the planet regulates itself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project was carried out with the support and scientific contributions of ESA &#8211; European Space Agency, ASI Italian Space Agency, EGO European Gravitational Observatory and INGV National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, organisations and institutes that provided the Study with incredible <strong>\u201csounds\u201d\u2019 from space and from underground<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Fundamental, in fact, were the exchanges and meetings with physicists, climatologists and space experts, which enabled Imaginarium to create a <strong>poetic narrative<\/strong>, steeped in <strong>surreal art<\/strong>, based on solid <strong>scientific concepts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organised in collaboration with the <strong>Consulate General of Italy in San Francisco.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On 22 April, to celebrate Italian Research Day and World Earth Day, the Italian Cultural Institute in San Francisco presented the multimedia show \u201cOra, i limiti del pianeta\u201d (Now, the Planet&#8217;s Limits), the new performance project by Imaginarium (Francesca Pasquinucci and Davide Giannoni) featuring storytelling, drawings, animation, direction and original musical compositions.
