The main topics on the agenda included the stepping up of bilateral relations, the mutual promotion of investment, increased cooperation in linguistic-cultural matters, transport and social security, as well as collaboration between the <em>Guardia di Finanza<\/em> (Inland Revenue Police) and the Department of Public Security of the Principality.<\/p>\n<p>While recalling the importance of the recent mission of Minister Tajani last February, Undersecretary Silli said: &#8220;Italy and the Principality of Monaco are nations linked by centuries-old ties of history, culture, friendship and collaboration, which are reflected in the excellent state of our relations, the potential of which we want to further strengthen.&#8221; The numbers, indeed, show the solidity of the partnership with the Principality, of which Italy is the second commercial partner, with a particularly dynamic bilateral trade.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the high complementarity between the two economies and the importance of the Italian community living in the Principality, deepening social ties, logistical connections and commercial opportunities is in fact a strong priority for the Government.
