Meeting between Minister Antonio Tajani and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio<\/strong><\/p>\n

Villa Madama \u2013 17 maggio 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, 17 May 2025, at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong>, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, will meet with the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio<\/strong>, at Villa Madama.<\/p>\n

At 6:30 p.m.<\/strong>, Minister Tajani will deliver a brief statement to the press.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The arrival of the US delegation is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in attending the event can apply for accreditation by sending a request by 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, 17 May<\/strong>, by e-mail to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (tel. 06 3691 8210 – 8573 or 3432), as follows:<\/p>\n

For representatives of the Italian press organisations:
\n– a copy of an identity document,
\n– a letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or – in the absence of the latter -, a copy of professional identity card.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press organisations not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
\n– copy of an identity document;
\n– letter from the newspaper of affiliation;
\n– Verbal note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/p>\n

For representatives of foreign press already accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the request must be sent with a copy of an identity document attached.<\/p>\n

Badges must be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, central entrance, left side, between 5:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama with private vehicles, accredited journalists will be transported to Villa Madama via a shuttle service operating from the central entrance of the Farnesina (round trip), available until the conclusion of the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n
