Just days before Italy\u2019s Republic Day celebrations on 2 June, Faber GmbH \u2014 general importer for the Piaggio Group in Austria \u2014 presented the Italian Embassy in Vienna with a customised Vespa. The model is decorated with the Italian tricolour, the emblem of the Italian Republic, and the Embassy\u2019s logo. The handover ceremony took place on 20 May at Palais Metternich, in the presence of Ambassador Giovanni Pugliese and Josef Faber, CEO of Faber GmbH.<\/p>\n
For over seventy years, the Vespa \u2014 a true ambassador of Made in Italy \u2014 has been a symbol of style, innovation, and quality, and is highly valued and loved in Austria as well. Renowned worldwide, it is more than just a vehicle; it is a cultural icon that has spanned generations and borders, embodying the creativity, ingenuity, and craftsmanship so typical of Italy \u2014 qualities well known and sought after by Austrians in their lifestyle choices.<\/p>\n

The vehicle will be used by the Italian diplomatic mission for a period of two years, thanks to a concession from Faber GmbH, particularly during institutional events and initiatives promoting Italy\u2019s many areas of excellence.<\/p>\n
