Ministers Tajani and Barrot exchanged ideas on the possibility of holding a meeting of the European Union Foreign Affairs Council soon and evaluated the possible mediation channels that could be opened in these hours by various protagonists in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The two Ministers also discussed the need for the European Union to be involved from the very beginning of a possible negotiation phase.<\/p>\n<p>Italy and France will also maintain close coordination to assist in every way their citizens present both in Iran and in Israel and in other countries in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This evening Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani had a new telephone conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
