{"id":139886,"date":"2025-07-02T15:55:37","date_gmt":"2025-07-02T13:55:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/07\/praga-un-giugno-di-musica-e-danza\/"},"modified":"2025-07-03T13:15:14","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T11:15:14","slug":"praga-un-giugno-di-musica-e-danza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/07\/praga-un-giugno-di-musica-e-danza\/","title":{"rendered":"Prague: a June of music and dance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>June in Prague kicked off with a celebration of Italian music and dance, featured in the rich summer programme of the <strong>Italian Cultural Institute.<\/strong> As part of the international contemporary dance festival <strong>Tanec Praha,<\/strong> held at the Ponec Theatre, choreographer and director <strong>Simone Sandroni<\/strong> presented a new production: \u201cLet there be the light\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Following this, the Institute became one of the stops of the capital\u2019s largest street arts festival, <strong>Praha \u017eije hudbou<\/strong>, with the Italian marching band <strong>Takabum<\/strong> performing in the courtyard of the Institute. In mid-June, it was the turn of guitarist, composer, and instrument maker <strong>Paolo Angeli<\/strong> and the Tenore Murales de Orgosolo, who, in collaboration with the Institute, performed on \u0160tvanice Island as part of the 28<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the <strong>Respect Festival<\/strong>, the Czech Republic\u2019s premier world music showcase. Subsequently, the show R.OSA by <strong>Silvia Gribaudi,<\/strong> featuring a performance by <strong>Claudia A. Marsicano,<\/strong> premiered.<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Music Day<\/strong>, the series \u201cSummer in Music at the Italian Cultural Institute\u201d began, offering a programme of concerts spanning various musical genres.<\/p>\n<p>The season closed in grand style with a piano duo concert by <strong>Monica Leone<\/strong> and <strong>Michele Campanella<\/strong>, performing a programme for two pianos at the city\u2019s Conservatory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the arrival of summer, we devised a programme full of music, rhythm and energy, to be enjoyed also in the splendid outdoor spaces of our Institute,\u201d concluded <strong>Marialuisa Pappalardo<\/strong>, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Prague. \u201cFor the first time, the Institute is a stop on the prestigious Praha \u017eije hudbou street arts festival; we are present at Tanec Praha and the Respect Festival: thanks to these collaborations, we are proud to be an integral part of the city\u2019s vibrant cultural scene\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"June in Prague kicked off with a celebration of Italian music and dance, featured in the rich summer programme of the Italian Cultural Institute.
