The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi, participated\u2014on behalf of Minister Antonio Tajani\u2014in the opening panel of the Recovery Forum for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. In her remarks, she highlighted the wide range of financial and insurance instruments made available by Italy to encourage businesses to take part in reconstruction programmes and projects.<\/p>\n
On the margins of the event, Undersecretary Tripodi held a productive bilateral meeting with Fernando Brun, Secretary for International Economic Relations of the Republic of Argentina. Discussions focused on the Italy\u2013Argentina Action Plan 2025\u20132030, the upcoming Italy\u2013Latin America and Caribbean Conference, and alignment with Buenos Aires on major global issues.<\/p>\n
Undersecretary Tripodi subsequently met with Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar. The excellent exchange provided an opportunity to explore Italy\u2019s humanitarian assistance to the civilian population in Gaza, support for negotiations aimed at ending hostilities, and bilateral cooperation opportunities for peace and economic development\u2014not only in the Middle East, but also in Africa, through the Mattei Plan.
