{"id":149896,"date":"2025-10-01T10:48:47","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T08:48:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/10\/al-via-la-quarta-edizione-di-air-artisti-in-residenza-2025\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T12:03:45","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T10:03:45","slug":"al-via-la-quarta-edizione-di-air-artisti-in-residenza-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/10\/al-via-la-quarta-edizione-di-air-artisti-in-residenza-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Launch of the fourth edition of AIR \u2013 Artists in Residence 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 30 September 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation hosted <strong>the launch event of the fourth edition of AIR \u2013 Artists in Residence 2025<\/strong>, a project promoted by <strong>MIDJ<\/strong> (Italian Jazz Musicians), with the support of <strong>SIAE<\/strong> (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) and in collaboration with the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong> and <strong>Europe Jazz Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, by means of a draw, the<strong> eleven international destinations<\/strong> that will host the <strong>winners<\/strong> of the call for applications <strong>were assigned<\/strong>: Addis Ababa, Almaty, Chicago, Istanbul, Marseille, Prague, Nairobi, Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm, Tirana and Valletta.<\/p>\n<p>The President of MIDJ, <strong>Susanna Stivali<\/strong>, drew the residencies, while the names of the musicians were drawn by <strong>Marco Maria Cerbo<\/strong>, Head of the Coordination Unit of the Italian Cultural Institutes \u2013 Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>The winners and their destinations: <strong>Botte Jossy<\/strong> \u2013 Valletta; <strong>D\u2019Alessandro Alessandro<\/strong> \u2013 Prague; <strong>Le Noci Enrico<\/strong> \u2013 Almaty; <strong>Magro Giovanna<\/strong> \u2013 Tirana; <strong>Nasi Daniele<\/strong> \u2013 Addis Ababa; <strong>Quartarone Claudio<\/strong> \u2013 Nairobi; <strong>Restivo Carla<\/strong> \u2013 Marseille; <strong>Rotunno Sara<\/strong> \u2013 Rio de Janeiro; <strong>Scianatico Giulio<\/strong> \u2013 Chicago;
