Their discussions focused principally on preparations for the Italo-Polish bilateral summit to be held in Warsaw on 5 December, and on the imminent Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius, which will be decisive for the European prospects of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Deputy Minister Dass\u00f9 outlined the priorities that Italy intends to pursue as President of the European Union in the second half of 2014, to which her Polish colleagues responded with a willingness and commitment to work together on EU themes of mutual interest, particularly in the sector of European defence.
