Turkey<\/STRONG>: trade deficit reaches 57 billion dollars<\/STRONG><\/P> In the first 8 months of 2013 the Turkish trade deficit grew by 18%, up to 67 billion USD as compared with 57 billion in the same period of 2012. Italian trade with Turkey was 37% of the total, placing Italy as Turkey\u2019s 4th trade partner after Germany, Russia and China. Turkey\u2019s imports from Italy, down by 5.9% compared with January-August of 2012, totaled 8.4 billion USD, with exports of 4.4 billion (up 7.3%).
