Located just a short distance from Buckingham Palace, it stands at the very heart of the United Kingdom\u2019s political and institutional life.<\/p>\n
\u201cCasa Italia is a meeting place for all the components of the Italian economic system, offering a comprehensive showcase of our country that unites its economic, cultural, artistic and social dimensions under one roof,\u201d said Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani. The initiative is the outcome of close cooperation among the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Embassy of Italy in London, the Italian Cultural Institute, and the ITA \u2013 Italian Trade Agency, together with leading Italian design and furniture companies and major Italian and British museums. Casa Italia is conceived as an open and inclusive space for all: institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, citizens, students, academics and scientists, athletes, journalists, and figures from the worlds of art and culture.<\/p>\n
The interiors have been created with the contribution of numerous Italian companies, including Molteni&C, Unifor, Cassina, Tecno, Poltrona Frau, Porro, De Padova, Saporiti Italia, Citterio, Alias, Rubelli, Flos, Alpi, Listone Giordano, Marsotto, Glas Italia, Olivari, Karakter, Acerbis, Tacchini, Azucena, Giobagnara, CC-Tapis, Robertosport, Lavazza, Smeg, Flos Architectural, Formafantasma, Tecno, Achille Salvagni Atelier, K-Array, Marsotto, Rubelli, Alpi, and Fantini Mosaici.<\/p>\n
The spaces are further enriched by artworks from public and private collections, featuring works by Paolo Scheggi, Pietro Consagra, Arturo Vermi, Tino Stefanoni, Gianpaolo Pagni, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Riccardo Patern\u00f2 Castello, Tancredi di Carcaci, Anthony Gormley, the Estorick Collection, the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, J.
