The Reflective Genius of Getulio Alviani\u201d has recently closed in Tokyo, paying tribute to one of the leading figures of twentieth-century programmed and kinetic art.<\/p>\n<p>The show featured a selection of around fifty works \u2013 from the celebrated \u201cVibratile Surfaces\u201d and \u201cSpecular Interrelations\u201d to Alviani\u2019s geometric and chromatic experiments from the 1970s and 1980s.<\/p>\n<p>Through his research, Getulio Alviani expanded the boundaries of visual perception, transforming the viewer into an active participant in the artwork.
