The photographs are part of the<strong> group exhibition \u201cImpossible Images\u201d<\/strong>, curated by Arianna Catania, which also features a significant <strong>new acquisition<\/strong> by the Farnesina Collection: La sequenza (1971) by Fausto <strong>Melotti<\/strong>, displayed in the foyer to welcome visitors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Melotti<\/strong> designed the sketch for \u201cLa sequenza\u201d in 1971. The original version stands in the gardens of Pirelli HangarBicocca, a donation from the Melotti Foundation. The newly acquired version in the <strong>Farnesina Collection<\/strong> is smaller in size but equally monumental.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>inauguration<\/strong> of \u201cImpossible Images\u201d will take place on 20 November, and the exhibition will remain open <strong>until 23 November at the Roma Convention Center \u2013 La Nuvola.<\/strong> Alongside the Farnesina Collection artists, the exhibition includes works by Adrian <strong>Paci<\/strong>, Giorgio <strong>Di Noto<\/strong>, Teresa <strong>Giannico<\/strong>, and Giorgia <strong>Severi<\/strong>. The theme of \u201cImpossible Images\u201d explores <strong>pushing the boundaries of the visible<\/strong>, reflecting on the photographic medium and its expressive potential.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Year of Cultural Exchanges Korea\u2013Italy 2024\u20132025, established to celebrate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Korea and Italy, <strong>the Republic of Korea is the Guest of Honour at Roma Arte in Nuvola.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Roma Arte in Nuvola<\/strong> was conceived and organised by Alessandro Nicosia, under the artistic direction of Adriana Polveroni, and is promoted by EUR S.p.A.. The event benefits from the active support of the Ministry of Culture, Rome City Council, and the Lazio Region, and from the patronage of the Dicastery for Evangelisation of the Vatican City.
