PRESENTATION OF THE FOREIGN MINISTRY\u2019S REFORM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Villa Madama<\/em><\/strong> (Rome), 4 December 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, 4 December 2025<\/strong>, at 10:00 a.m<\/em>., an event will be held at Villa Madama<\/em> (Rome)<\/strong> to present the reform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI). The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Antonio Tajani, will speak at the event.<\/p>\n

The main innovations of the Foreign Ministry\u2019s reform<\/strong>, which will enter into force on 1 January, 2026, will be presented. Through a new two-entity organization, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will synergistically manage the instruments dedicated to growth diplomacy<\/strong> and those more closely related to the political and security issues<\/strong> of the international agenda. The reform also increases attention to cybersecurity<\/strong> and technological innovation, and aims to improve services for Italian citizens abroad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to follow the plenary session may request accreditation by 5:00 p.m. on <\/strong>Wednesday, 3 December, <\/strong>by registering at\u00a0https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0and uploading the required documents.<\/p>\n

Those already registered on the online Portal, who have received confirmation from the system, may access their profile and select participation in the event.<\/p>\n

Badges\u00a0<\/strong>shall be collected in person at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0main entrance<\/strong>\u00a0(left-hand side<\/strong>),\u00a0on\u00a0Thursday, 4 December,\u00a0<\/strong>between\u00a08:45 a.m<\/strong>. and\u00a09:15 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it is not possible to reach Villa Madama with private vehicles, accredited journalists will be transported to\u00a0Villa Madama<\/em>\u00a0via a shuttle service operating from the main entrance of the Foreign Ministry (round trip), available until the conclusion of the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n
