{"id":163975,"date":"2025-12-12T12:36:27","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T11:36:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2025\/12\/barcellona-presentazione-oculus-spei\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T13:37:52","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T12:37:52","slug":"barcellona-presentazione-oculus-spei","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/diplomazia-culturale\/2025\/12\/barcellona-presentazione-oculus-spei\/","title":{"rendered":"Barcelona, presentation of \u201cOculus Spei\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 3 December, in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Italian Cultural Institute of Barcelona presented the multimedia artwork \u201c<strong>Oculus Spei<\/strong>\u201d by the Neapolitan artist Annalaura <strong>di Luggo<\/strong>, during the conference \u201cOculus Spei: Diversity, Inclusivity, Spirituality\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The event used the artwork as a starting point to reflect on <strong>diversity<\/strong> and human <strong>dignity<\/strong>, highlighting the <strong>plurality<\/strong> of human experiences. It fostered a dialogue on new ways of inhabiting the world with greater awareness, <strong>empathy<\/strong>, and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOculus Spei\u201d was first presented on 3 December 2024 at the <strong>Pantheon<\/strong> in Rome, as a reflection on the role of <strong>hope<\/strong> through an ideal journey among the <strong>Holy Doors<\/strong> during the Jubilee Year.<\/p>\n<p>The installation was selected by the National Committee for the <strong>Neapolis 2500<\/strong> Celebrations and is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), celebrating the <strong>openness and inclusivity<\/strong> that are essential elements of Naples\u2019 identity worldwide.
