Large crowds also for the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum\u2019s showing of Leonardo masterpieces from Milan\u2019s Ambrosiana Library, which has welcomed 55,000 visitors since its opening on 22 April, with peaks of over 7,000 a day during the Golden Week festivities that many Japanese dedicate to cultural activities.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>Events on the calendar<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P>The exhibition \u201cRubens: Inspiration in Italy, success in Antwerp\u201d is still under way in the city of Kitakyushu, a major industrial centre on the island of Kyushu, after previously being hosted at the Bunkamura Museum in Tokyo. The exhibit on photographer Mario Giacomelli at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography has also enjoyed great success.
