{"id":174429,"date":"2026-02-06T15:08:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T14:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/\/2026\/02\/kuala-lumpur-lanciata-la-prima-puntata-di-moto-ditalia-cultura-oltre-la-pista\/"},"modified":"2026-02-06T15:13:28","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T14:13:28","slug":"kuala-lumpur-lanciata-la-prima-puntata-di-moto-ditalia-cultura-oltre-la-pista","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/retediplomatica\/2026\/02\/kuala-lumpur-lanciata-la-prima-puntata-di-moto-ditalia-cultura-oltre-la-pista\/","title":{"rendered":"Kuala Lumpur, launch of the first episode of \u201cMoto d\u2019Italia\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the sports diplomacy activities promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur launched the world preview of the first episode of\u00a0<strong>\u201cMoto d\u2019Italia \u2013 cultura oltre la pista\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The audiovisual project is promoted by the Directorate General for Growth and the Promotion of Exports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in close collaboration with MotoGP, the Italian Motorcycling Federation (FMI), ANCMA \u2013 National Association of Cycles, Motorcycles and Accessories, EICMA \u2013 International Exhibition of Cycles, Motorcycles and Accessories, and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).<\/p>\n<p>Structured as a four-episode mini-series, the project is dedicated to\u00a0<strong>promoting and enhancing the Italian motorcycle supply chain\u2014an excellence of Italian manufacturing<\/strong>\u00a0and, at the same time, an integral part of Italian cultural identity, capable of bringing together industry, expertise, creativity, and passion.<\/p>\n<p>The official<strong>\u00a0launch of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship season held in the heart of Kuala Lumpur<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014one of the key events in global motorcycling\u2014provides an ideal setting to highlight the content of the first episode of the series. Motorsport and the racetrack environment represent a point of convergence between competition, research, and vision.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cOn the eve of the opening ceremony of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Games<\/strong>, the role of sport as a tool of diplomacy is further strengthened. Thanks to the strong collaboration with MotoGP, the Embassy wanted to dedicate today\u2019s event to celebrating values and passion which inspire our athletes every day. From two wheels to winter sports, today more than ever sport represents a bridge between our peoples and our cultures, while also generating new opportunities for companies operating in the sector,\u201d said the\u00a0<strong>Ambassador of Italy to Malaysia, Raffaele Langella.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports<\/strong>, said: \u201cMotoGP has deep roots in Italy\u2019s racing heritage, and this project reflects how culture, technology, and sport come together to shape a story that goes far beyond the track. We are proud to support an\u00a0<strong>initiative that celebrates Italian excellence and strengthens the connection between MotoGP and one of its most influential motorsport nations<\/strong>.
