{"id":17474,"date":"2013-03-28T11:31:54","date_gmt":"2013-03-28T10:31:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2013\/03\/20130328_carra_parigi-2\/"},"modified":"2013-03-28T11:31:54","modified_gmt":"2013-03-28T10:31:54","slug":"20130328_carra_parigi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2013\/03\/20130328_carra_parigi\/","title":{"rendered":"Exhibit: Carlo Carr\u00e0 returns to Paris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>Minister for Foreign Affairs of France Laurent Fabius joined Ambassador Giandomenico Magliano at the Italian Embassy in Paris to inaugurate an exhibition of the works of Italian Futurist painter Carlo Carr\u00e0 (1881-1966), who began his career in the French capital in 1900, returning in 1911 and 1914, and who worked in close contact with Picasso, Matisse and L\u00e9ger, among others.<\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>12 representative works<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P>The exhibit will be open to the public from 28 March to 6 April, and follows the artist from his involvement in the Futurist and Metaphysical movements to his evolution in the 1930s toward a \u201cmagic\u201d realism composed of still life, landscape and seascape.
