MINISTERIAL MEETING ON THE WESTERN BALKANS<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday 3 March 2026<\/strong>, the Farnesina will host a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the \u201cFriends of Western Balkans\u201d Group together with the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans and the European Union. The meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, and will be attended by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The agenda is as follows:<\/p>\n

13:30 \u2013 13:45: Arrival of foreign delegations \u2013 open to accredited photographers and cameramen<\/p>\n

Following: Group photo \u2013 open to accredited photographers and cameramen<\/p>\n

13:45 \u2013 15:30: First session on \u201cEnsuring solid foundations for security, prosperity and economic growth: strategic cooperation between the EU and the Western Balkans\u201d (closed to the press<\/em>)<\/p>\n

16:30 \u2013 18:00: Second session on \u201cReforms, Responsibility, Results: an enlargement that delivers\u201d (press access only for the intervention of Minister Antonio Tajani<\/em>)<\/p>\n

The ministerial meeting \u2014 attended by the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) and the countries of the \u201cFriends of Western Balkans\u201d group (Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Greece and Slovenia) \u2014 will strengthen coordination on EU-Balkans cooperation priorities for 2026, European integration and regional security and development.<\/p>\n

Journalists will be able to follow Minister Tajani\u2019s intervention<\/strong> during the second working session (16:30) from a listening room (Sala Aldo Moro), while photographers and cameramen will be admitted to the International Conference Hall (main meeting room).<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend the press moments must apply by 5:00 p.m. on Monday 2 March<\/strong>, registering via the following link https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a> and providing the required documentation.<\/p>\n
