The results were presented in Tripoli, Lebanon\u2019s second city, in the presence of Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Morabito. The plan, which received Foreign Ministry funding of 95,000 euros and was implemented by the Safadi Foundation, was designed to address the underlying causes of the decline of the neighbourhood. A key element in the implementation process was the involvement of young volunteers living in the area. <\/P><br \/>\n<P><STRONG>The Al Makhloufsteps: Stairs of Integration<\/STRONG><\/P><br \/>\n<P>The Italian Ambassador also visited Tripoli Social Care Orphanage, which is home to about 50 orphans aged 6 to 13 who are among the beneficiaries of the project. The initiative was widely reported in the media and has been a great success with the young people involved.
