The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Maria Tripodi, has concluded her growth diplomacy mission to Uruguay.<\/p>\n
In 2024, trade between Italy and Uruguay reached EUR 776 million. In the first eleven months of 2025, Italian exports also recorded significant growth, confirming the dynamism of the bilateral economic relationship.<\/p>\n
The Undersecretary chaired a roundtable in Montevideo with representatives from Uruguay\u2019s main public and private economic and productive sectors, together with a selected delegation of Italian entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
On that occasion, Tripodi presented the \u201cGuide to Opportunities for Italian Companies \u2013 2026 Edition\u201d. The Undersecretary subsequently held a series of bilateral meetings with the Minister of Education and Culture, Jos\u00e9 Carlos Mah\u00eda, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mario Lubetkin and the Minister of Economy and Finance, Gabriel Oddone.<\/p>\n
