The Italian Cultural Institute of S\u00e3o Paulo (IICSP) and the S\u00e3o Paulo Photography Festival \u2013 2026 Edition (FFSP 2026) announce a special call for entries addressed to Italian nationals residing in Brazil or Italy who work in the field of contemporary photography. The initiative offers a unique opportunity to take part in a free photographic exhibition scheduled for May 2026, which will be part of the Festival\u2019s official programme.<\/p>\n
With the aim of promoting visibility and opportunities in the field of contemporary photography, the competition will award one of the 15 finalists with a round-trip flight ticket between Brazil and Italy and official participation in FFSP 2026, in order to foster cultural and professional exchange between the two countries. Applications are open until 19 April 2026, and each participant may submit from one to five photographs on a theme of their choice, ensuring full creative freedom for the artists.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe mission of the Italian Cultural Institute is to promote Italian art in Brazil, and in this regard nothing is more important than strengthening this exchange in collaboration with FFSP, offering Italian photographers the opportunity to take part in a festival featuring artists from around the world,\u201d said Lillo Teodoro Guarneri, Director of the IICSP.<\/p>\n
