On Monday, April 27<\/strong>, the Business Forum “Italy, Europe, and Latin America: The Time for a Shift Toward a New Strategic Centrality. Growth Prospects and Mercosur” will be held in Prato, providing an important opportunity for international dialogue and discussion dedicated to Latin America.<\/p>\n

The event focuses on issues of strategic interest for Italy and Latin America: support for growth and free trade, opportunities for collaboration between Italy, the European Union, and Latin America, and those offered by the EU-Mercosur Agreement.<\/p>\n

The programme includes a morning session of the Business Forum<\/strong> between Italian and Latin American companies at the Museo del Tessuto<\/em> (Textile Museum).<\/p>\n

In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 p.m., the high-level institutional segment<\/strong> will follow at the Teatro Metastasio<\/em><\/strong> in Prato, with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, members of the governments of Latin American countries, and the Secretary General of IILA, Giorgio Silli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The initiative, promoted by the International Italy-Latin America Organization (IILA) jointly with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with the support of the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), is part of the celebrations for the IILA\u2019s 60th anniversary and takes place on the eve of the provisional entry into force of the Agreement between the European Union and Mercosur. The aim is to strengthen economic and trade relations between Italy and Latin America, leveraging opportunities for cooperation, including in the industrial and commercial sectors.The afternoon session<\/strong> at the Teatro Metastasio<\/em> will be open to the press. Journalists, photographers, and cameramen interested in covering the event may submit their accreditation request by Friday, April 24, at 5:00 pm<\/strong>, registering through the press accreditation portal<\/u> and attaching the required documents. Those who have already registered online and have received confirmation of their registration can access their profile and select participation in the event.<\/p>\n
