The team of six Civil Protection experts left for Azerbaijan today. For approximately two weeks, the team will work on COVID-19 law enforcement activities planned by the Baku authorities, sharing experiences and best practices with Azerbaijani colleagues. It is an action of solidarity and closeness to a friendly country, which has helped Italy in the most critical moment of the health emergency.<\/p>\n
The operation, initiated by the Farnesina and with the coordination of the Department of Civil Protection, is part of the European Union’s Civil Protection system. The experts – from Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Tuscany and Lazio – took off this morning from the military airport of Pratica di Mare with a plane from the Guardia di Finanza.<\/p>\n
