On Monday 18 May 2026, from 10:30 a.m.,<\/strong> the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host the launch event of the 3rd<\/sup> edition of the project \u201cSport and Innovation \u2013 Made in Italy\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event will be opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>. This will be followed by remarks from the President of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), Matteo Zoppas<\/strong>, the President of \u201cSport e Salute\u201d, Marco Mezzaroma<\/strong>, as well as Paolo Barelli<\/strong>, President of the Italian Swimming Federation, Angelo Binaghi<\/strong>, President of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation and Stefano Mei<\/strong>, President of the Italian Athletics Federation, accompanied by athletes representing each Federation.<\/p>\n

Minister Tajani will conclude the event with the appointment of the Ambassadors of Sports Diplomacy.<\/p>\n

The ceremony will be streamed live on the Farnesina YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen wishing to attend the ceremony are invited to request accreditation by 5:00 p.m. on 15 May<\/strong>, by registering via the following link https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a> and uploading the required documentation.<\/p>\n

Those who are already registered on the online portal and have received confirmation of their registration may access their profile and select participation in the event.<\/p>\n
