The two documents address the serious health situation in the Palestinian territories and ask the World Health Organization (WHO) to continue its support for the Palestinian health system, and call on Israel to protect medical staff, allow humanitarian operations and do not obstruct the entry of necessary medical equipment to the civilian population.<\/p>\n
Italy\u2019s vote in favour follows on from the position taken in 2024 and 2025 and confirms Italy\u2019s commitment to supporting compliance with international humanitarian law and safe, rapid and unhindered humanitarian assistance.
