This is an extremely severe act, which deserves the strongest condemnation. The intimidation against Cappellari, who has been courageously and professionally reporting on the reality of Caivano and the work of Don Maurizio Patriciello for years, is an unacceptable attack not only on him personally, but also on the fundamental principles of freedom of the press and the right of citizens to be informed. Any form of violence or threat against those who carry out their journalistic work need to be combated with determination.
