The event also provided an opportunity for a delegation led by Verona-Fiere and Vinitaly, and consisting of six producers (Cantina Castello Banfi, Cantina Allegrini, Cantina Terredora, Cantine Ferrari, Casa VinicolaZonin\/STRONGarboursville Vineyards e Gruppo Italiano Vini) to forge relations on Capitol Hill with US politicians who represent the States most involved in the cultivation of grapes and in wine-making, with additional positive economic results in terms of trade collaboration between Italy and the United States, where the wine-making sector is already well structured. Speaking at the event, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero pointed out that the \u201cagri-alimentary sector is one of Made in Italy\u2019s strong points in the United States, thanks especially to the excellent performance of a wine-making sector where growth in exports has been consistent over the past few years, both in quality and volume\u201d.
