On June 12<\/strong>, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, will open the Conference of Italian Consuls in the World<\/strong>, a meeting of the Italian Consular Network worldwide. The aim is to explore topics such as the provision of consular services, assistance to Italian nationals, digital innovation, and the sharing of best practices among consular offices. Over 150 Consuls will participate.<\/p>\n

09:00 a.m. National Anthem performed by the Carabinieri Band<\/p>\n

followed by Screening of an introductory video on the work of Honorary Consuls<\/p>\n

09:15 a.m. Address by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/p>\n

09:25 a.m. Address by the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi<\/p>\n

followed by further interventions<\/p>\n

approximately 11:15 a.m. Coffee break<\/p>\n

1:30 p.m. \u2013 2:30 p.m. SECOND SESSION \u2013 \u201cThe Consulate as Italy\u2019s Municipality Abroad: services and solidarity\u201d<\/p>\n

3:45 p.m. \u2013 4:45 p.m. THIRD SESSION \u2013 \u201cConsular assistance and the role of the Honorary Consul\u201d<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the Conference, <\/strong>open to the press until 4:45 p.m.<\/u>, shall submit their accreditation request accreditation by Thursday, June 11, at 4:00 p.m<\/strong>. registering through the link https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a> and attaching the required documents.<\/p>\n
