In the course of the conversation, the Minister also raised the issue of the Grimaldi \u201cGrande Torino\u201d ship, which has been in the Strait of Hormuz since March.<\/p>\n<p>There are currently 21 crew members on board, three of whom are Italian citizens, including the Captain. The ship is fully operational and ready to depart as soon as conditions permit.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Tajani reiterated the priority given by the Government to the protection of Italian nationals on board and called for the full cooperation of the Iranian authorities to facilitate a swift resolution of the matter. The aim is to allow the ship to resume navigation as soon as possible and to ensure the safe return of the crew.
