On 17 June Palazzo Borromeo hosted the launch event of the volume \u201cQuam Pulchri \u2013 Settanta saggi per i settant\u2019anni del Cardinale Matteo Zuppi\u201d (“Quam Pulchri \u2013 Seventy Essays for the Seventieth Birthday of Cardinal Matteo Zuppi”).<\/p>\n
The event, organised in collaboration with the Foundation for Religious Studies, was opened by remarks by Ambassador Francesco Di Nitto, followed by speeches from Matteo Maria Zuppi, President of the Italian Bishops\u2019 Conference; the Minister of Defence, Guido Crosetto; the President of the \u2018Futuri Probabili\u2019 Association, Luciano Violante; the Rector of \u201cLa Sapienza\u201d University of Rome, Antonella Polimeni, and the President of the Foundation for Religious Studies, Alessandro Pajno.<\/p>\n
The event was moderated by Professor Alberto Melloni, Secretary of the Foundation for Religious Studies (FSCIRE), who, together with Nicla Buonasorte, edited the volume presented on this occasion.<\/p>\n
