The book is part of the celebrations promoted by the National Committee <em>Neapolis 2500<\/em>, established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Culture, and chaired by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari.<\/p>\n<p>After greetings from the Superintendent of the Theatre, Fulvio Macciardi, the editor-in-chief of the daily <em>Il Mattino<\/em>, Vincenzo Di Vincenzo, will interview Prefect Michele di Bari, Antonio D&#8217;Amato, CEO of Seda International Packaging Group and President of the <em>Fondazione Mezzogiorno<\/em>, and philosopher Sebastiano Maffettone. The event will end with a tribute to Neapolitan song performed by soprano Anna Grotto and tenor Emanuele Pellegrini, accompanied by the <em>Teatro San Carlo<\/em> Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Antonio D&#8217;Amato and edited by Sebastiano Maffettone, the book brings together contributions from scholars and representatives from the worlds of culture, science, art, law, and economics, analysing the role of Naples as a city capable of generating ideas, institutions, and models that have influenced the European and Mediterranean scene. Through essays on the main fields of culture, science, economics, and diplomacy, the book portrays a city open to dialogue, innovation, and exchange, a protagonist of internationally significant processes.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is part of the <em>Neapolis 2500<\/em> project, promoted to celebrate and enhance the city&#8217;s 2,500th anniversary and strengthen its international projection through initiatives dedicated to culture, business, diplomacy, and internationalization. Within this framework, the book is an opportunity for reflecting on the future of Naples and Southern Italy, as well as an opportunity to strengthen its role in international cultural dialogue.
