Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani has officially opened the refurbished MAECI Health Centre, which from today is open to external users.<\/p>\n
The new entrance will allow external users to access the Health Centre directly, without having to pass through the Farnesina Palace. This initiative forms part of the programme to enhance the Health Centre, which in recent months has seen an expansion of specialist services, improvements to the premises and the introduction of new services, including international vaccinations.<\/p>\n
During the event, three agreements were also signed, promoted by the Minister\u2019s Ecclesiastical Advisor, Mons. Marco Malizia, with a view to further strengthening healthcare provision. Two agreements have been signed with the Bambino Ges\u00f9 Children\u2019s Hospital: the first concerns the provision of specialist paediatric services at the Health Centre. The second agreement on access to paediatric specialist consultations for MAECI personnel and their family members. A third agreement has been signed with the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital Foundation (IRCCS) to expand the range of specialist services available.<\/p>\n
In his speech, the Minister emphasised the importance of collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Regione Lazio, ASL Roma 1 and the hospitals involved. He also highlighted how the new agreements will help to expand the range of healthcare services on offer, consolidating the role of the Health Centre as a point of reference both for Ministry\u2019s personnel and for the local community, \u201ctowards a more modern, more efficient Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation that serves the whole community\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani has officially opened the refurbished MAECI Health Centre, which from today is open to external users.
