As part of the series of events dedicated to Andrea Palladio, organised in Beijing by the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute, the exhibition \u2018Chinese Voices on Palladio. From Classical Architecture to Contemporary Experiment\u2019 was recently opened at the Tsinghua University Art Museum. The exhibition is organised by the Polytechnic University of Turin in collaboration with Tsinghua University, with the support of the Treccani Encyclopaedia Institute and the Nuova Artemarea Association.<\/p>\n

The project is an example of academic collaboration and cultural dialogue centred on a key figure in world architecture. It also marks a continuity with the exhibition \u2018Geometria, armonia e vita. L\u2019architettura di Andrea Palladio dall\u2019Antico al Classico\u2019 (Geometry, Harmony and Life. The architecture of Andrea Palladio from the Ancient to the Classical)<\/a>, which opened last February at the National Museum of China and attracted over 550,000 visitors.<\/p>\n

The exhibition \u2018Chinese Voices on Palladio\u2019 shifts the focus from the historical to the contemporary.
