Italy still has room to grow in its economic relations with Indonesia. There are surely more ambitious investment possibilities”. At the end of his meeting in Jakarta with his colleague Marty Natalegawa, Terzi said that he had “found appreciation for the Italian government’s efforts” to confront the crisis. “As a G20 country, Indonesia looks to the fundamental role that Italy is having in the stabilisation of the euro, as well as in advancing an economic compact that gives the entire international community a sense of continuity and certainty about the euro”, Terzi explained.

Conference on Religious Freedom

The defence of religious freedom, inter-faith dialogue and defence of religious minorities are “foreign policy priorities for Italy at all levels.
