{"id":20289,"date":"2012-04-04T11:39:27","date_gmt":"2012-04-04T09:39:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2012\/04\/20120404_gedda-2\/"},"modified":"2012-04-04T11:39:27","modified_gmt":"2012-04-04T09:39:27","slug":"20120404_gedda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2012\/04\/20120404_gedda\/","title":{"rendered":"Snamprogetti wins project for rainwater drainage system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>The Province of Mecca has awarded Snamprogetti (Saipem Group) a contract worth 1.319 billion Saudi Riyals (about 263.8 million euros) to build a rainwater drainage system serving King Abdulaziz International Airport to the north of Jeddah. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>The project will see the construction of a 56 km pipeline of around 3 metres in diameter; 3 outlets to the sea; numerous lateral conduits linking the main pipeline to the existing rainwater collection system; around 250 water collection tanks; and a collection channel with capacity of about 600,000 cubic metres. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Saipem\u2019s contract is one of 8 projects (worth SR3.338 billion in total) designed to find a definitive solution to Jeddah\u2019s rainwater drainage problems.
