3rd ITALIAN SPORT DAY AROUND THE WORLD<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cITALY: A Land of Enterprise, A Sea of Excellence\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Monday 14 September 2026, at 5.00 p.m.<\/strong>, the Third Italian Sport Day Around the World<\/strong> will take place in the International Conference Hall of the Foreign Ministry. This themed event aims to enhance our country\u2019s excellence in this field as well.<\/p>\n

Participants will include the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, and the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi<\/strong>, as well as the CONI President, Luciano Buonfiglio<\/strong>, and the CIP President, Marco Giunio De Sanctis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Following the opening address, there will be three sessions dedicated to the supply chains and economic sectors linked to land and water sports, athletes and major events, in particular the 2027 America\u2019s Cup in Naples and the launch of the international promotional roadshow. At the end of the event, Minister Tajani will appoint the new Ambassadors for Sports Diplomacy.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen may follow the event from the International Conference Hall (subject to capacity). A press room (Aldo Moro Hall) will also be available, with a live audio-visual feed of the event.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in following the session open to the press shall request accreditation by 9:00 a.m.<\/strong> on Monday, 14<\/strong> September<\/strong>, by registering at\u00a0https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0and attaching the required documentation.<\/p>\n

Those who have already registered on the online portal and have already received confirmation of their registration acceptance from the system may access their profile and select to participate in the event.<\/p>\n
