It will be opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, <strong>Antonio Tajani<\/strong>, and co-chaired by the Jordanian Minister for Water and Irrigation, <strong>Raed Abu Soud<\/strong>, and by the European Commissioner for the Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, <strong>Jessika Roswall<\/strong>. The <strong>address<\/strong> of the Acting Secretary-General of the Union for the Mediterranean Secretariat, <strong>Fadi Hajali<\/strong>, is also scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>The works will conclude at 7.15 pm, in the presence of the Minister for the Environment and Energy Security, <strong>Gilberto Pichetto Fratin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists may follow the sessions open to the press from an overflow room (Aldo Moro Room), whilst photographers and cameramen will be admitted to the International Conference Room (main Conference Hall) for the opening and closing sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Due to space constraints, it may be necessary to organise pools of photographers for photo opportunities and camera crews for filming.<\/p>\n<p>The press sessions are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3.30 pm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Arrival of delegations (<em>official photographers and cameramen only<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>followed by\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Group photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: -15px; padding-left: 208px; margin-bottom: -1px;\">(<em>official photographers and cameramen and pools of photographers and cameramen<\/em>)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">4.00 pm \u2013 4.20 pm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Official session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: -15px; padding-left: 208px; margin-bottom: -1px;\">\u00a0(<em>official photographers and cameramen and pools of photographers and cameramen<\/em> <em>in the meeting room; journalists in the overflow room<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4.20 pm \u2013 7.15 pm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Working session (<em>closed to the press<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>7.15 pm \u2013 7.30 pm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Conclusions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-top: -15px; padding-left: 208px; margin-bottom: -1px;\">(<em>official photographers and cameramen<\/em> <em>and pools of photographers and cameramen<\/em> \u2013 <em>in the meeting room; journalists in the overflow room<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and cameramen interested in covering the event may apply for accreditation by sending a request by <strong><u>Friday 25 September at 6:00 pm<\/u><\/strong>, to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0(tel. 06 3691 3432 \u2013 3078, 8210 o 8573), attaching the following:<\/p>\n<p>for representatives of <strong>Italian press organisations<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter of assignment from the newspaper of affiliation or \u2013 in the absence of the latter \u2013 copy of professional identity card;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>for representatives of <strong>foreign press organisations<\/strong>, not accredited at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy of an identity document;<\/li>\n<li>letter from the newspaper of affiliation;<\/li>\n<li>Verbal Note of the Embassy in Rome of the country of the press organisation represented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Press representatives who are already accredited with the Foreign Ministry shall submit their application, attaching a copy of their identity document.<\/p>\n<p>In the run-up to the event, a <strong>WhatsApp group<\/strong> will be set up to provide updates to accredited press representatives.
